New Zealand will take one change into the Davis Cup Asia-Oceania deciding tie against India in Wellington next month.
James Shortall will replace North Harbour's Simon Rea, who has college tennis obligations at the University of Tennessee.
Rea was the only team member not to get on court in their 3-2 victory over Indonesia last month.
North Harbour's Daniel Willman and Mark Nielsen have been retained for the April 5-7 tie, along with Canterbury's Alistair Hunt.
New Zealand captain Glenn Wilson opted for Shortall on form - he qualified for the masters of the New South Wales satellite last month and has won matches each week on the New Zealand Futures circuit.
He is also a proven doubles player and will widen the options when it comes to selecting the doubles combination."
Shortall, who has played the circuit for only seven months, has a world singles ranking of 755 and a doubles ranking of 376.
Willman has the highest singles ranking of 348. Nielsen is ranked 418th and Hunt 1312th.
