The Parnell tennis club finished top of the points table of the men's and women's competitions at the completion of the round-robin of the Caro Bowl.
The Waiata men's 4-2 defeat of Belvedere put the West Auckland side out of top-four contention and kept West End in the semifinals after they had lost to Parnell, 1-5.
Mission Bay finished third by continuing their solid form, winning all four singles matches but dropping the doubles to Pakuranga, who were seventh.
Mission Bay will take on West End on Friday night, while top seeds Parnell will play Waiata, with the winners going straight into the grand final.
The last time these two sides met, Waiata ended the defending champions' run of wins, with a draw on an otherwise clean record of victories.
Howick were relegated after a 0-6 loss to Remuera.
Titirangi scored the necessary draw to push their main rivals Kohimarama into fifth place in the women's draw after a strong display by Belinda Bennett and Jane Ioaba.
National 12s champion Marina Erakovic finished her season for Kohimarama with only one singles loss. In her latest clash, she downed Jacqui Condor in straight sets.
Titirangi will now play Remuera in the semifinals on Saturday.
The top semifinal will feature Parnell, who beat bottom-placed Herne Bay 6-0 with the loss of only one set.
Parnell, led by Kiwi No 4 Niki Tippins and promising junior Tanja Markovic, will play Royal Oak.
In the penultimate round of the Chelsea Cup, the Campbells Bay and Mairangi Bay men scored 6-0 wins against Northcote and Milford respectively, while Browns Bay drew 3-3 with Birkenhead and Belmont beat Glenfield on sets won.
