New Zealand has wrapped up the Davis Cup tennis tie against Kazakhstan on Auckland's North Shore.
GD Jones has trounced his Kazakhstan opponent 6-1, 6-0 to take the tie 4-1.
However, 17 year old New Zealander Rubin Statham has started his Davis Cup career with a loss.
He lost 6-4 ,7-5 to the Kazakhstani number one in a dead rubber.
Kiwi number one Mark Nielsen was rested for the match after New Zealand took the tie in the first two days.
They play the winner of Kuwait and Iran in the next round.
