New Zealand Davis Cup representative Mark Nielsen has won his fourth Futures doubles tennis title of the year.
He and American David Martin combined to win the final of a US$10,000 Futures event in Karuizawa, Japan, yesterday.
The top seeds beat Tetsuya Chaen, of Japan, and Korean Dong-Hyun Kim 6-4, 6-4.
Nielsen lost the singles final, going down 6-7 (4-7), 1-6, 3-6 to Korean fifth seed Oh-Hee Kwon.
