New Zealand's Marina Erakovic and Sacha Jones will meet in the semifinals of a US$25,000 ($32,930) Challenger tennis tournament in Vigo, Spain.
They booked the meeting after surviving three-hour quarterfinals on Saturday.
Erakovic, 19, beat fifth seed Melanie South, of Britain, 7-6 6-7 6-2 while Jones, 16, prevailed 6-2 6-7 6-4 over Australian Emily Hewson.
Erakovic and Jones have met just once in singles in professional tennis, with Erakovic winning easily in Australia last year.
Elsewhere, New Zealand No 1 Dan King-Turner has reached the final of a US$15,000 Futures event in England after beating Australian Robert Smeets 7-6 3-6 7-6 in the semifinals.
He will play second seed Adam Feeney, of Australia, in the final.
