New Zealand has lost to Indonesia in their Davis Cup tie in Jakarta.
Mark Nielsen and Lee Radovanovich needed to win the doubles to keep the tie alive after the kiwis lost both singles matches on the opening day.
But they were beaten 6-1, 6-1, 7-6 by Suwandi Suwandi and Bonit Wirijawan, Indonesia taking an unassailable three-nil lead in the tie.
The kiwis are now likely to face Pakistan in the promotion relegation battle in September.
