New Zealand tennis No 2 Dan King-Turner is in the semifinals of the US$15,000 ($26,500) Pro Circuit event in Wellington after an upset 6-2, 6-4 victory over top seed and world No 193 Carsten Ball yesterday.
King-Turner was almost joined in the semifinals by compatriot Rubin Statham, who fought hard before going down to third seeded Australian Adam Feeney 3-6, 6-3, 5-7.
