KEY POINTS:
New Zealand's Daniel King-Turner is through to the final of a Futures tennis tournament in Japan. His 6-7, 6-1, 7-6 victory over a fast-improving JaeSung An from Korea means he will play in his second final in a week.
King-Turner was to face Yaoki Ishii of Japan, who had a straight sets semifinal win. The singles marathon semifinal seemed to take its toll on King-Turner and the great run that he had been enjoying with GD Jones in the doubles came to an end.
Their seven straight wins, which included the doubles title last week, also in Japan, ended at the hands of Chinese pair Mao-Xin Gong and Zhe Li Zhe 6-1, 7-5.
