Dominik Hrbaty is through to his third semi at the Heineken Open after a rain-delayed match against German qualifier Philipp Kohlschreiber.
The match was a continuation from last night when scores were locked at 6-1 to Hrbaty in the first set with Kohlschreiber winning the second 6-3 and Hrbaty, the 2001 champion and a finalist last year, up 1-0 in the third.
In fine weather today Hrbaty rounded out the match 6-3 in the third set to move into the semis where he now plays defending champ and third seed Gustavo Kuerten in a repeat of the 2003 final.
Reaching the quarters will take Kolschreiber's ATP entry ranking from 198 to around the 150 mark however he will not be able to make the Australian Open in Melbourne next week as his has missed the qualifying
draw.
