New Zealand Fed Cup tennis player Marina Erakovic has added another title to her list of wins.
Erakovic, 16, teamed with the Netherlands Michaella Krajicek (half-sister of 1996 Wimbledon champ Richard Krajicek) to win the prestigious doubles title at the Canadian Junior Open in Quebec.
Erakovic and her Dutch partner defeated the top two world ranked players in Katerina Bondarenko and Yung Jan Chan 6-3 3-6 6-2 in the final.
Krajicek is ranked sixth in the world and Erakovic tenth.
Erakovic has won two doubles titles out of 12 events entered this year and has being a doubles finalist at junior Wimbledon and a semifinalist at the Australian Open as well as being a finalist at two other events.
Erakovic plus Davis Cup player William Ward and GD Jones all head to New York for the US Open juniors competition starting tomorrow.
