KEY POINTS:
Her singles form may be poor but New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic continues to thrive in the doubles format.
Erakovic and her partner Sorana Cirstea, of Romania, yesterday advanced to the doubles final at the Luxembourg Championship.
They won their semifinal 6-1 3-6 10-4 over Spanish top seeds and reigning French Open champions Anabel Medina Garigues and Virginia Ruano Pascual.
Erakovic and Cirstea will play Russian Vera Dushevina and Mariya Koryttseva, of Ukraine, in the final.
Erakovic has lost her last eight first-round singles matches but her doubles form has been outstanding this year.
Tomorrow will mark her fourth doubles final this year, and follows wins at S'hertogenbosch in the Netherlands and Tokyo.
