KEY POINTS:
New Zealand's top tennis player Marina Erakovic had her French Open preparations unsettled when she was eliminated from a tournament in Croatia today.
Erakovic, whose year has been blighted by injury, exited in the first round of the US$75,000 ($102,950) in Zagrab when losing in three sets to Hungarian Zsofia Gubasci.
The 6-7 7-6 3-6 result deprives Erakovic of valuable court time and she will now head to Holland to train before playing in the qualifying rounds for the French Open, which starts in Paris on May 27.
