New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic suffered her second first-round exit in a week when she was defeated by Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova at the Indian Wells Open in California today.
Erakovic started well, but folded when the pressure went on, eventually succumbing 6-4 6-1.
She was also beaten by Russian Maria Kirilenko 6-4 6-3 in the opening round of the Monterrey Open in Mexico last week.
