Roger Federer and Andre Agassi are set to take to the court for what onlookers hope will be an epic mens final to conclude the 2005 US Open championships.
While top seeded Federer is at the peak of his abilities, and is the bookmakers' favourite to take the US crown, there will be tremendous New York City support for the 35 year-old Agassi, the 7th seed.
The match will be the 1994 and 1999 champion's sixth US Open final.
In action at Flushing Meadows earlier today (NZ time), Americans Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur, the 6th seeds, took out the women's doubles title with a 6-2 5-7 6-3 win over 14th seeds Elena Dementieva of Russia and Flavia Pennetta of Italy.
