Two changes have been made to the New Zealand team for the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania group two semifinal tennis tie against Kuwait in Auckland next month.
Non-playing captain Bruce Derlin has named Dan King-Turner and Adam Thompson to replace Matt Prentice and Rubin Statham.
They join Mark Nielsen and GD Jones for the tie on July 15-17 when victory would see New Zealand advance to a likely final against Korea to determine who regain group one status.
Prentice and Statham were part of the team who beat Kazakhstan 4-1 in March.
King-Turner, 21, who started the year with no ATP ranking, is now at 752 in singles and Thompson, 22, is at 723.
"We want to win and win well and improve with each match," Derlin said.
"Against Kazakhstan we were hot favourites and we managed to put in some good performances.
"We're not looking ahead to Korea yet, we need to get Kuwait out of the way first."
Kuwait have two ranked players: Mohammed Al Ghareeb at 634 in singles and Abdullah Magdas at 1487.
