Leanne Baker and Australian doubles partner, Nicole Kriz are through to the semifinals of the US$145,000 ($200,276) Prague WTA event after gaining a walkover win against fourth seeds Gisela Dulko (Argentina) and Spain's Aranxta Parra Santonja.
Parra Santonja was unable to take the court with an abdominal strain.
The ranking points Baker will receive from making the semis will take her current ranking of 122 up to at least 110.
Baker and Kriz will play their semifinal against the China's Ji Chumei and Sun Shengnan early tomorrow morning.
At the US$10,000 men's Futures at Tianjin, China, Simon Rea is through to the quarterfinals after scoring a 7-6 6-4 win over China's Mao-Xin Goong. He will now play Japan's Yuichi Ito.
At the same tournament, Rubin Statham lost his second round match to Peng Sun of China 6-3 6-4.
In the doubles, Statham and Australian Matt Ebden are through to the final after defeating China's Yu Chang and Hui Zhang 6-1 6-2.
They meet Japan's Yaoki Ishii and Hiroki Kondo in the final.
In Sofia, Bulgaria, Matt Simpson lost his second round US$10,000 Futures match to local Ilia Kushev 6-4 6-3.
Simpson and German Pirim Haenle are through to the doubles semifinals after beating Bulgarians Simeon Ivanov and Alexander Stamchev 6-3 6-2.
