New Zealander Leanne Baker and Italian doubles partner Francesca Lubiani have won the title at the US$25,000 Felixstowe event on grass in Britain.
Baker and Lubiani, the top seeds, beat Australian Lauren Breadmore and South African Surina De Beer in three sets in the semifinals, then downed Jarmila Gajdosova (Slovakia) and Andrea Hlavackova (Czech Republic) 6-1, 4-6, 3-2 retired in the final.
It was Baker's first doubles title of the year after being a finalist on three other occasions.
