The team acquired the Mascalzone Latino boat from the last cup, (now GER72) and raced it in the 2005 and 2006 pre-regattas. Bombed last year finishing 11th in all three regattas.
CREW
Led on the water by Danish skipper Jesper Bank, twice an Olympic gold medallist and America's Cup skipper in 2002-03 with the Swedish team. Joining him in the afterguard is David Dellenbaugh (USA), Kiwi Conan Hunt, Philippe Mourniac (France) and Michael Hestbaek (Denmark).
STRENGTHS
The helmsman and tactician combination of Bank and Dellenbaugh. Dellenbaugh has competed in three cups - 1987 Heart of America, 1992 America3 and 1995 Mighty Mary. Bank has an enviable CV that includes two Olympic gold medals and numerous world titles.
PROSPECTS
Not too good. Will exit after the round robin competition.
