KEY POINTS:
Yachting fans have again been left shaking their heads at America's Cup Management's choice of venue after racing was postponed this morning.
Rather than no wind or too much wind, the problem this morning was a thunder and lightning storm which struck Valencia just after midday.
The thunder rolled up from the south bringing rain, hail and thunder and lightning.
In between the thunderstorms, a light gradient breeze from the south at near 8 knots appeared but there was never enough time between storms to set a racecourse.
Team New Zealand will now face Desafio Espanol and Team Shosholoza tonight. The weather looks more promising with east to south-east winds 8 – 14 knots.
