Oracle skipper Jimmy Spithill has given an indication that he intends on having another crack at the America's Cup.
Spithill posted on Instagram today that he was 'humbled' after 'copping a hiding from someone better' in Bermuda, but said he will use the experience of losing 7-1 to Team New Zealand in the final to get stronger. He completed the post with the hashtag #notdoneyet.
Spithill had been non-committal towards Oracle Team USA's future participation in the America's Cup following Oracle's loss ("We haven't even talked about that"), but was effusive in his personal emotions towards this event, where he is now tied (with Sir Russell Coutts) for most finals wins.
"I love this game. I probably shouldn't say this, it's a little bit embarrassing, but I think more about the America's Cup than my own family ... sorry honey," Spithill said at his final press conference in Bermuda.
