Nearly 500 hours of the Louis Vuitton Cup series will be aired by American cable company Outdoor Life Network.
The signing of the North American television contract for the series will mean more live coverage in the United States than before.
In the past only the later rounds of the round-robin competition have been shown live on television in the US.
However, OLN subscribers will be able to watch every race from the beginning of October through to the America's Cup match in February.
The 24-hour cable network will be available in 60 million homes by the time the Louis Vuitton Cup starts in October.

Oracle Racing has employed a group of fitness and medical experts to conceive, implement and manage the team's medical and fitness programme.
The programme is being developed so that the team will peak mentally and physically at the right time. Each team member is monitored closely.
"The physical demands of each position on the boat are different and personalised training programmes reflect that uniqueness," medical director Dr Lee Rice said.

GBR Challenge owner Peter Harrison has launched the syndicate's official business club in London.
The club gives businesses the opportunity to support the British team in their bid for the cup while reaping exclusive benefits.
It enables companies that are not in a position to become sponsors or suppliers to take part and support GBR Challenge.
In return for a donation of £25,000 ($85,000), business club members will benefit from a range of networking, hospitality and promotional activities for their business and brand.

Three births over the Christmas and New Year holiday have boosted the number of children at Oracle Racing.
The syndicate's weather team boat captain, Aaron McIntosh, and fiancee Jennifer Snider were presented with their best Christmas gift when their daughter, Daniella Joan (3.6kg, 8lb 1oz), arrived at 7 am on Christmas Day.
Sailing base administration co-ordinator Ruby Johnson and her husband Mike celebrated the arrival of Jack Michael at 1.45 am on December 28, weighing in at 3.8kg (8lb 6oz).
Then sailing team member Geordie Shaver and wife Heather welcomed their son, George Jacob IV, into the world on January 2. He weighed 3.4kg (7lb 5oz).
With more than 51 children under the age of 10, and 94 children in total, Oracle Racing help to keep their smallest team members entertained with a kiddies' play area at their sailing base.
"Since such a large number of Oracle Racing team members have children, we are very conscious to ensure that we integrate families into our overall America's Cup programme," Oracle Racing's chief operating officer, Bill Erkelens, said.
