A deal has been signed to give northern European countries live TV coverage of the 2007 America's Cup.
It will be shown in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary.
Organisers reached a deal with Viasat Broadcasting, a leading European broadcaster.
Michel Bonnefous, CEO of the America's Cup organisers, said: "With the America's Cup in Europe for the first time, the Swedish Victory Challenge returning as a competitor and the Louis Vuitton Acts 6 & 7 in Malmo-Skane this summer, Northern Europe - and Scandinavia in particular - is more involved in the America's Cup than ever before."
Highlights will also be broadcast of this year's Luis Vuitton Acts.
