Rugby: Canterbury sneaks home over Auckland

Canterbury have beaten Auckland 34-28 in their NPC warm up match on Waiheke Island this afternoon.

The red-and-blacks trailed Auckland 21-10 at half time but second half tries to Dallas Seymore, Mark Mayerhofler and Marika Vunibaka, as well as a perfect six from six kicking effort from Ben Blair, sealed the win.

In the first half Carlos Spencer, Adrian Cashmore and Steve Devine scored tries for Auckland, while Daryl Gibson crossed the line for Canterbury.
