Three matches in the French rugby heartland along with games in Edinburgh and probably Cardiff mark the All Blacks' draw at the 2007 tournament.
The release of the schedule yesterday revealed there will be no shortage of travel for the New Zealanders in their four pool matches before facing a likely quarter-final at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
If, as expected, they top pool C their quarter-final opponents will be the runners-up from pool D - likely to be either France or Ireland.
However, if the All Blacks finish runners-up in their pool, they will get an early quarter-final taste of the Stade de France, the venue for the semifinals and final. Again, the likely opponents will be France or Ireland.
However, the All Blacks are likely to go through unbeaten in pool play, with the only serious challenge to come on September 23 against Scotland, who will have the benefit of home advantage at Murrayfield.
The All Blacks have met the Scots at four of the last five World Cup tournaments, winning all four encounters.
New Zealand have never lost to Scotland in a test, winning 22 of the 24 matches, with two draws.
Victory at Murrayfield and Cardiff will probably set up a semifinal against Australia in Paris, if seedings go as scheduled.
The All Blacks' pool matches are spaced a week apart. They open against a European qualifier at Marseille on September 8, followed by a match against repechage opponents in Lyon on September 15. Their final pool match is against a second European qualifier in Toulouse on September 29.
Their three French pool venues, in the centre and south of the country, are considered to be strongholds of the sport.
At the 2003 World Cup in Australia the All Blacks used a base at Melbourne and travelled to match venues one day out from the games. It is undecided if that will be their approach again in 2007.
Pool A: England, South Africa, Oceania 1, Americas 3, Repechage 2.
Pool B: Australia, Wales, Oceania 2, Americas 2, Asia 1.
Pool C: New Zealand, Scotland, Europe 1, Europe 2, Repechage 1.
Pool D: France, Ireland, Americas 1, Europe 3, Africa 1.
