BRISBANE - Gold Coast captain Scott Prince will be sidelined for up to six weeks with a broken thumb in a big blow to his NRL club.
The Titans halfback will undergo minor surgery in the coming days when a screw is to be inserted into his right hand and is expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks.
Prince received the bad news today after suffering the injury late in Saturday night's 24-8 victory over Canberra.
Prince has been in brilliant form for the unbeaten Gold Coast and was able to shrug off a salary cap controversy to star against the Raiders.
