Exploding Halo took 1:7.4 for 1000m, the 600 in 39. Starvacious finished some striding work with a sharp 600 in 37.4.
Dunal Magic was not after time over 1200m in 1:28, the 600 in 42.5. Rip It Up looked ready for a return to racing when dashing 1000 in 1:5, the 600 with Sugar Street in 36.5.
West Life and Momentus went 1000m smartly in 1:3, the 600 in 36.5. Bust It Off and Russian Embassy also did well over 1000 in 1:3.5, the 600 in 37.
Thats The Way and Just A Dare wound up for Te Rapa impressively on a heavy No 1 grass at Pukekohe, cutting out 1000m in 1:8, the 600 in 40.3.
Calici also looked fit for Te Rapa when sprinting 600m in 41.2. Meteorite went 1000 solidly in 1:11, the 600 in 42.3.
Winged Victory worked well on the sand, coming from the 600m in 40.9. Krissy Deming dashed 600 keenly with Alire on a good fibre track in 38.
Puni showed her readiness for Te Rapa with a solid circuit (1780m) of a good plough at Te Aroha in 2:2, the 1200 in 1:19.2 and 600 in 38.5.
Royal Orb looked forward for a return to racing when dashing 600m in 41.6. She's Supreme, who races next week at Ellerslie, went 1200 in 1:25, quickening from the 600 in 41.1.
At Avondale, Interlaced looked to be travelling better than the in-form Mick Bailey at the end of 800m on a soft No 1 grass in 53.1, the 600 in 38.3.
River Chant shaded Jog My Memory after 1000m in 1:7.9, the 600 in 37.8.
On the sand, which was slow, Play With Fire and War Chief worked well over 1200m in 1:21.2, the 600 in 39.5. Brin and Dance Club covered the same ground in 1:21.7 and 39.7.
Diamond Sands and Izalion ran 1000m in 1:9.2, the 600 in 40. Folk Dance and Celtic Flame did similar work in 1:10.7 and 40.9.
From the 800m barrier on the course proper, Flying Pig and Lemon Eyes were timed in 50.1, the 600 in a smart 36.8.
For the second time this week, all training at Cambridge and Te Awamutu was obliterated by fog.
