On a firm all-weather track, Isle Floorem strode freely once round, the last 1200m in 1:15.5, 1000 in 1:3.6 and 600 in 37.
First Impact also impressed when striding through 1200m in 1:16, the 1000 in 1:3 and 600 in 37.2.
On a firm sand, Awapuni Hurdles contender Prince William ran 1200m in 1:21.6, the 600 in 38.8. Royal Jig led Talking Heads by a couple of lengths after 1000 in 1:2.5, the 600 in 37.4.
Tesoro, who looks to have trained on well since her recent Hastings win, went 1000m smartly in 1:3.2, the 600 in 37.2. Milk And Honey took 1:5.4 for 1000 and 38 from the 600.
Santiago and Indigo Power kept on terms over 1000m in 1:9, the 600 in 39.2. Makeeba and Its On Ice did well over the same distance in 1:6 and 38.5.
Working 26m out on a frosty course proper, Arousing strode comfortably over 1200m in 1:21.2, the 600 in 39.8. Rip It Up ran 1000 in 1:8.2, the 600 in 40.8.
Plain Jill excelled at Takanini in a session affected by fog, sprinting 1000m on a heavy No 1 grass in 1:6.4, the 600 in 40.2.
Pacific Star led Toute Suite after 1600m, the 600 in 42.7. Millennium and Michael Collins were going well after 1000 in 1:7.7.
Dulcetto went 1000m in 1:9.2, quickening from the 600 in 40.4. Champion Sunline, full of herself, excercised on the cinders for Michelle Hopkins.
At Avondale, Sir Albert showed his readiness for a fresh start at Te Rapa on Saturday when working strongly over 1000m with Exploding Rock on a soft No 1 grass in 1:6.4, the 600 in 36.8.
Royal Marine and Daytripper ran the last 600m of their work in 39.4. Our Meadowbank sprinted 600 with an Isle Of Man gelding in 39.4. Lemon Eyes cruised over 1000 in 1:9.7, the 600 in 38.8.
Meteorite and Status Quo impressed over 1000m on a heavy No 1 grass at Pukekohe in 1:6, the 600 on terms in 39.7.
On the No 2 grass, Kallenda Fame and Mr Ruby Charm kept together from the 600m in 41.7. Fizzi Blonde worked solidly from the 800 in 55.6, the 600 in 40.5.
Ballyreel, who races next in a week at Avondale, hit out well over 1600m on a good sand at Te Aroha in 1:57, the 1200 in 1:25.3.
Lord Plumtree covered 1780m in 2:7.7, the 1200 in 1:26. Hero's Heights sprinted 400m in preparation for Te Aroha today in 25.9.
