Lee Rutherford does not know for sure whether she wants Hangover Harry to win today's $20,000 Windsor Park Stud Te Awamutu Cup.
As the Herald's guest tipster for the day, she has tipped punters into Hangover Harry, but is disappointed she won't be riding him.
She is sidelined after busting a shoulder when she was thrown from class mare Showella at the Takanini training centre midweek.
Hangover Harry won last year's Te Awamutu Cup at the Waipa Racing Club's winter meeting, and Rutherford expects a showing much better than the horse's 005500 formline suggests.
"I feel he's been on the way up lately," she said last night as she studied the form.
The Takanini jockey is expecting to be sidelined for a couple of months.
Despite some pretty chilly temperatures, she was out walking yesterday afternoon, trying desperately not to drop too much in fitness levels.
"It'll be up to the doctor what I can do, but as I get more movement in the shoulder I'll be working it as much as I can.
"A week in some warmer weather, maybe when I can swim, might be a good option."
