KEY POINTS:
Former Silver Fern Wai Taumaunu does not expect any shock selections when Ruth Aitken announces her Silver Ferns squad for the World Championships this afternoon.
The Shakers coach says the team that lost to Australia recently was the best 12, but there are a couple of spots up for debate.
Taumaunu does not think there is any argument about the first ten names that should be read out, and while she would love to hear Temepara George and Donna Wilkins' names read out, she is not holding her breath.
George is understood to be unavailable. The pint sized centre has been unavailable since the May tour to England, missing the series against Jamaica and Australia, and it is believed she has not changed her mind.
There has been some comment about making a change at the defensive end. Casey Williams is a guaranteed goal keep, but both Joline Henry and Leana de Bruin have been given time as her partner.
Some believe Anna Scarlett could earn a reprieve possibly at the expense of Sheryl Scanlan when the squad';s announced at 1pm.
