KEY POINTS:
Netball Australia has welcomed the news New Zealand will host next year's world championships, which were removed from Fiji after the most recent political coup.
CEO Kate Palmer said her organisation would offer support to New Zealand if they needed help, but that she was sure they would do a good job.
However, she warned a revised date could lead to a rescheduling of both domestic and international fixtures across the Tasman.
A May national team tour to England was due to include tests against the Silver Ferns and had been specifically planned for two months before the world championship, originally scheduled for July.
Palmer said there was a possibility that team tour could still be conducted in September, two months prior to the November World Champs.
The three-Test series against the Silver Ferns in October, which was to include two Tests in Australia and one in New Zealand, could possibly still proceed at that time as a lead into the November championships.
