New Zealander Scott Dixon crashed out of the fourth round of the Indy Racing League at the Motegi circuit in Japan last night.
Dixon qualified 17th but was gone after one lap after his Target Toyota was an unlucky victim of a spin in front of him.
"I'm not sure what it is but I just haven't had much luck here," said Dixon, who was checked and released by medical staff after his third accident at the track in as many years.
"I'm not sure what happened but it looked like the another car spun on cold tyres and I had nowhere to go."
