Oh dear, Joe.
At Monday's PGA Tour Champions' Shaw Charity Classic, US golfer Joe Durant missed what should've been a gimme putt, and it didn't just cost him a potential win.
It also cost him a cool $272,000 in winnings.
Durant was on the 17th hole, at 14 under par, and had the chance to sink a putt that would finish with a par. The putt was less than half a metre, but it turned into a nightmare.
Durant missed the putt and would wind up falling to his compatriot Scott McCarron by a single shot, costing him the opportunity to go to a playoff to fight for a fourth career senior win.
