Tiger Woods is the world's highest-paid athlete, earning US$80.3 million ($130.65 million) in the last year, according to Forbes magazine's Celebrity 100 issue.
Woods edged Formula One driver Michael Schumacher for the top spot on Forbes' list. The German racing star took home US$80 million.
The rest of the top 10 are: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning (US$42 million); the retired basketballer Michael Jordan (US$35 million); Los Angeles Lakers centre Shaquille O'Neal (US$31.9 million); Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett (US$29.7 million); tennis star Andre Agassi (US$28.2 million); soccer icon David Beckham (US$28 million); New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez (US$26.2 million); and Lakers guard Kobe Bryant (US$26.1 million).
No female athletes made the list of the top 50.
