New Zealand golfer Tim Wilkinson has had another solid finish in the United States, one shot outside a top-10 finish on the second-tier Nationwide Tour.
Wilkinson shot a final round four-under 68 in Missouri to finish in a tie for 13th. While his 12-under tally of 276 was 14 strokes behind American winner Tom Scherrer, it had Wilkinson on the verge of his third top 10 of the season.
Wilkinson won US$8958 ($11,369) to climb to 42nd on the tour money list. Michael Long tied for 49th, seven-under the card, with Phil Tataurangi two shots further back.
