KEY POINTS:
Annika Sorenstam will make her return to the LPGA golf tour next week at the US$2.6 million ($3.6 million) Tribute event she hosts at RiverTowne CC in South Carolina.
Sorenstam has not played an LPGA event since the season's first major tournament, the Kraft Nabisco Championship that ended on April 1, due to a back injury.
The four-day event begins on May 31 and features a top lineup of LPGA stars, including the woman who replaced Sorenstam as world No 1, Mexico's Lorena Ochoa, and US teen star Michelle Wie.
