New Zealand golfer David Smail continued his consistent start to the 2006 Japan Tour with another top-10 finish yesterday.
Smail finished tied for seventh at the Tsuruya Open after shooting a final round two-under-par 69 for a 72-hole total of five-under 279.
He pocketed $42,371 for his efforts, finishing six shots behind winner Brendan Jones of Australia.
Yesterday's result left Smail eighth on the Japan Tour's money list, having finished tied for fourth in the Token Homemate Cup last week.
He was fifth on last year's money list with earnings of $1,067,720.
