Kiwi golfer David Smail has claimed his first professional win with a two stroke victory in the New Zealand Open at the Grange in Auckland.
Smail fired a final round even par 70 to finish seven under for the tournament.
Steve Alker and Michael Campbell finished tied for second along with Australia's Nathan Gatehouse and Brit Roger Chapman at five under.
Campbell closed with a four under 66 while Alker fired a one under 69.
Mark Brown and Greg Turner were the next best kiwis, finishing in a tie for seventh place at three under.
