Big-hitting golfer Davyn Nola has broken his own national record at the opening New Zealand qualifying round of the Remax World Long Drive Championship in Auckland.
Nola, who finished fifth in the world finals in the United States last year, staked a claim to retain his New Zealand long drive title and will be the man to beat in this year's series.
He smashed his own record with a 365.5m drive, bettering last year's 319m and further than his world championship effort.
