New Zealand's Mark Purser and Thailand's Chinnarat Phadungsil and Pariya Junhasavasdikul took the first round clubhouse lead yesterday as bad weather interrupted the Iskandar Johor Open. Play was suspended at noon for about three hours and all players who teed off in the afternoon session have yet to complete their round after play was suspended at nightfall. Chinnarat, the Asian tour's youngest winner, posted a four-under-par 68 that was matched by Pariya and Purser at the US$1 million ($1.34 million) full field Asian Tour event at the Royal Johor Country Club.
