New Zealand remained on target for a top-10 finish after the second round of the women's golf World Cup in South Africa today.
Lynnette Brooky and Elizabeth McKinnon combined for a round of 77 in the alternate shot foursomes at Sun City for a two-round card of seven-over 146.
That left them eighth among 21 nations, nine shots behind the leaders Paraguay.
Paraguay's Julieta Granada and Celeste Troche maintained their four-shot lead after carding a three-over-par 75 to finish on two-under 214.
Italy's Veronica Zorzi and Giulia Sergas returned 73 to claim second place on two-over, while Juli Inkster and Pat Hurst, of the United States, were the only other team under par today, a 70 putting them in third place on three-over 219.
South Korea, second overnight, were penalised two shots on the opening hole for moving an advertising board.
