New Zealand golfers jumped to fifth place midway through the junior World Cup in Japan yesterday.
Titahi Bay teenager Perry Hayman was joined by Rotorua's Jae An and North Harbour's Sam Shin, all shooting below par in the second round of the championship.
Hayman and An, both 17, shot two-under 70s while 16-year-old Shin recorded a 71 for a team score of five-under 211.
The United States continue to lead from Colombia, England and Argentina.
