New Zealand golfer Brad Iles' quest for his maiden title on the Nationwide Tour in the United States fizzled out yesterday.
A closing round of three-over 74 saw Iles slip from seventh equal to a tie for 17th in the US$750,000 ($1.02 million) Children's Hospital Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
The other New Zealanders in the field, Phil Tataurangi and Grant Waite, finished 25th equal and 31st equal after rounds of 73 and 72 respectively.
