New Zealand golfer Brad Iles notched his best result on the US Nationwide Tour when he finished in a tie for eighth at the Price Cutter Charity Classic in Springfield, Missouri today.
Iles shot a six under-66 in the fourth round of the US$600,000 ($796,000) tournament, rocketing him up the leaderboard from joint 24th after the third round. He was 17-under for the tournament on 271.
The winner of the second-tier US event was American Colt Knost who shot a 62 today for a 26-under total of 262.
Iles began with a birdie and then added seven more on the Highland Springs course. Two bogeys on the 7th and 13th holes cost him a top four finish.
His previous best result in his rookie season was a tie for 24th in last month's Knoxville Open.
