Despite having a shot at the Olympics within his reach, Kiwi golfer Michael Hendry is trying to remain focussed on his upcoming Japanese tournament.
The top two ranked golfers of each gender qualify for Rio, with Danny Lee and Ryan Fox currently the top two for New Zealand.
However Hendry's within just 13 places of Fox and says the door remains open.
He says Fox has unfortunately had a dip in his form which makes things interesting, though 13 spots in three weeks is a lot.
Hendry will this week play the Handa Global Cup, teeing off at 10:20am this morning.
