New Zealander Danny Lee is well placed after the opening round of the European Tour's Irish Open.
The Kiwi carded a four-under 67 to sit in a tie for 13th place, just three shots behind the outright leader, England's David Howell.
After finishing tied for fourth last week, Mark Brown has shot a disappointing one-over 72 in his first round to be tied for 82nd.
Michael Campbell is also in the log-jam in the middle of the leaderboard at one-over.
