New Zealand golfer James Gill finished in a tie for 11th at the World University championships in Turin, Italy.
The Waikato golfer completed the 72-hole tournament with a two-under 70 to finish five under par.
Chinese-Taipei's Chen-Chin Chiang wrapped up victory with a solid 71 to finish 15 under. Auckland professional Michael Hendry was 13th, one shot behind Gill.
