Kiwi golfer Ryan Fox has leapt more than 40 places in the world rankings following his European Challenge Tour win in Northern Ireland.
Fox heads to Rio at the weekend confident of a strong Olympic showing after blitzing the field with a final round 9 under 62.
He says to go out in the last round and do that is just a great feeling all round.
The Kiwi number two says the thought of being in the Olympic village with the rest of the Kiwi athletes is an exciting one.
Fox says he's looking forward to being a part of the New Zealand team in the high performance environment especially because he doesn't get many opportunities to be in a team with golf.
