Welshman Stephen Dodd won the China Open yesterday for his first PGA European Tour golf title, shooting a four-under 68 on for a three-stroke victory over Denmark's Thomas Bjorn.
Dodd had a 12-under 276 total on the Silport course. Bjorn, the top-ranked player in the field at No 31 in the world, also shot a 68.
England's Steve Webster tied for third at six-under with Australia's Jason Dawes and Thai stars Chawalit Plaphol and Thaworn Wiratchant.
