New New Zealand professional golfer Brad Isles has few expectations as he heads into the first round at the Australian Masters in Melbourne this afternoon.
The young Tauranga golfer impressed in his professional debut last weekend, finishing tied for 25th in the Australian PGA Championship at four under par, 14 shots behind the winner, Robert Allenby.
Iles says he is happy with his form, but is still trying to adapt to the pressure of professional golf, and is cautious over expecting the same sort of result this week.
He says if his mind is in the right place he will be able to get a decent start, instead of working to save a score.
Michael Long, Gareth Paddison, Martin Pettigrew, Marcus Wheelhouse, Guy Penrose, Tony Christie and amateur Samuel Shin are the other New Zealanders in the field.
