Australia won the Clare Higson Trophy for a record sixth straight time yesterday, beating New Zealand 14-4 at the St Andrews Course in Hamilton, after leading 8-1 overnight.
New Zealand needed an improbable whitewash in all nine matches yesterday but Australia grabbed an unassailable advantage when they won the foursomes 2-1.
The contest involved junior (under-19) boys.
